I see tight round clouds
About to release big rains
This weather so unpredictable
On this land great strains
The storm now hits
The water table does rise
Natural disaster so real
What an unforeseen demise
These streets need repair
Emergency time is near
Another clean-up required
From this worst weather fear
In the blink of an eye
So much was lost
Could this have been prevented?
